Enrique Vázquez Lucas-Torres was born in Campo de Criptana on January 11th, 1996. As a child, he felt attracted to music and began his studies of flute in Filarmónica Beethoven School. He finished his professional studies in C.P.M. Joaquín Turina with Prof. Antonio Pérez. He studied composition with Rafael Eguílaz and Félix Manuel Pérez Alonso. Former student of Flute in Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón with Professors Antonio Nuez, Fernando Gómez and André Cebrián. Also, he has received MasterClasses from Álvaro Octavio, Miguel Ángel Angulo, Javier Castiblanque, Håvard Lysebo, Francisco López, Jorge Caryevschi, Marc Grauwels, Clara Andrada and Cuarteto Quiroga.
Since 2013 he has studied orchestral conducting with Miguel Romea Chicote making a deep analysis of most of the orchestral repertoire. He has also received advices from Jordi Francés Sanjuán, Juanjo Mena, Pablo González, Paavo Järvi, Gianandrea Noseda, Jakub Hrusa and Lorenzo Viotti. Assistant conductor of Fernando Bustamante and Orquesta Ciudad de la Mancha, he has conducted them in concerts in Valladolid, Almuradiel or Campo de Criptana. Conducting practices with Filarmónica Beethoven Wind Band. In 2018 he conducted Joven Orquesta Leonesa as a guest conductor as student of the MasterClass with Maestro Bruno Aprea.
As composer he has received lessons from teachers such as Enrique Rueda, Roberto Nieva, Andrés Valero Castells, Luis Ángel de Benito, Manuel Angulo, Agustín Charles, Juan José Eslava, José María Sánchez-Verdú and Jesús Navarro. Winner of the Contest "Música Solidaria con el Alzheimer" organized in 2018 by Confederación Española de Sociedades Musicales with the piece "El Capitán Zheimer" based on a comic with the same name by Nacho Golfe. Previously he won a third prize in the "Premios al Arte" organized by the Candelaria City Council in Tenerife, with the piece "Wind ... BACH!" (2017). In the last year, he has received an honorary mention for his work "... de la Danza y lo Danzable" ... " at the Concours International de Composition "Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette" in Luxembourg.
Interested in the media world, he has received since 2018 Sound Recording and Engineer classes from Prof. Chechu Martínez Herranz (El Séptimo Cielo) and Tomás Virgós Navarro. He has a Máster of Músic in Composition for Media: TV, Films and Games by Centro Katarina Gurska (Madrid) where he has received classes from Carlos Duque, Zacarías M. de la Riva, Eva Gancedo, Mario Gosálvez, Vanessa Garde, Arnau Bataller, José Vinader, among others.
